What we collect

When you request a quote or book a clean, we collect:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• The service address / suburb and property details (bedrooms, bathrooms, condition notes)
• Your booking preferences and any notes you provide
• Payment information (processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe — we do not store card numbers)
• Basic technical data (IP address, browser) for security and analytics

Why we collect it

• To provide a quote and arrange your cleaning service
• To assign and coordinate a vetted cleaner for your job
• To contact you about your booking and our bond-back guarantee
• To process payments and deposits
• To improve our service and meet our legal obligations

Who we share it with

We share only what's necessary to deliver your service: the assigned cleaner (name, address, job details), our payment processor (Stripe), and our email/SMS providers. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where required by law.

How we store and protect it

Your data is stored securely with our cloud providers (including Google Firebase). We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

Your rights

You can ask us to access or correct your personal information, or to delete it where we're not required to keep it. Email hello@bookmyclean.com.au and we'll respond within a reasonable time. If you have a privacy concern you're not satisfied with, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
