Terms of Service
Effective June 2026
These terms govern your use of Book My Clean and any cleaning service you book through us. By booking, you agree to them. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which always applies.
How booking works
We provide an instant fixed-price quote based on the details you enter. When you reserve a slot, we confirm a vetted cleaner's availability for your preferred date and contact you to confirm. A booking is confirmed once we've notified you that a cleaner is assigned.
Pricing & deposits
- Your quoted price is fixed for the property details and condition you describe.
- A refundable deposit may be required to hold your slot; it is credited to your final price.
- If the property's actual condition materially differs from what you described (e.g. heavy soiling, mould, hoarding, damage), we'll discuss any price change with you before work begins — never a surprise charge after.
- The balance is payable on completion of the clean.
Our 72-hour bond-back re-clean guarantee
If your property manager or agent identifies eligible cleaning items in the final inspection, we'll return to re-clean those areas free, subject to these conditions:
- The issue must be reported to us within 72 hours of the clean.
- It must relate to cleaning items on the agreed checklist (one return visit).
- It excludes: damage, mould remediation, fair wear and tear, items outside the booked scope, and anything not related to cleaning (e.g. rent, keys, gardening, rubbish removal).
- We may ask for the agent's inspection report.
The guarantee is a re-clean of the flagged cleaning items — it is not a guarantee that your full bond will be returned, as bond outcomes depend on factors outside our control.
Cancellations & rescheduling
- You can reschedule with reasonable notice (24+ hours) at no charge.
- Deposits are refundable if we can't service your requested date.
- Late cancellations or no-access on the day (cleaner can't enter the property) may incur a fee, applied reasonably and consistent with the ACL.
Access & your responsibilities
You're responsible for ensuring the cleaner can access the property at the agreed time (keys, codes, parking). Please remove personal valuables. Utilities (power and water) must be connected for the clean to be completed to standard.
Our cleaners
Cleaners are vetted and insured. We coordinate the service and stand behind the guarantee. Quality concerns should be raised with us directly so we can make it right.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to re-supplying the cleaning service or the cost of doing so. Nothing here limits the guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
